The 14-mile, tolled expressway will be built in three phases, running from SR 417 near Boggy Creek Road in Orange County to Nova Road in Osceola County. SR 534 will feature two lanes in each direction and seven interchanges.

Once the project is complete, SR 534 will include seven new interchanges, more than 30 new mainline bridges and a modern and progressive design that includes roundabouts, to keep traffic moving with fewer conflict points.

Connectivity and aesthetics will also be enhanced with the addition of pedestrian-friendly shared use paths and sidewalks along local roads and treatments such as planter walls and native landscaping along the expressway.
