SR 534
Connecting SR 417 near Boggy Creek Road (Orange County) to Nova Road (Osceola County)
Project Overview
The State Road 534 project is a 14-mile, limited-access toll road intended to meet the increasing demand for additional east-west connectivity. This facility is expected to support the current and projected transportation needs of residents and businesses in Southeast Orange and Northeast Osceola counties.
The Central Florida Expressway Authority (CFX) is in various stages of development of the corridor, which extends from SR 417 near Boggy Creek Road in Orange County to Nova Road in Osceola County. Various sections are under design to enhance mobility for the area’s fast-growing population and economy, improve connectivity to Orlando International Airport, and relieve congestion on local roads, including Narcoossee Road and Boggy Creek Road.
Since 2005, SR 534 has been part of various regional planning efforts and has undergone several studies incorporating feedback from the community and stakeholders as CFX balances regional transportation needs with environmental commitments.
